HP Envy Photo 7155
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Cannot print photos from my Laptop to my HP Envy Photo Printer.  Can only print photos in the paper tray and on 8-1/2 /x 11" photo paper.  Will not print from the photo tray.

Cannot print a 4x6 on HP photo paper.  I have a HP Envy Photo Printer 7155.  It printer correctly a couple of months ago when I used it, but is not cooperating now.  It will print a 3-1/2x 5 on a 4x6 paper, however, I want to print on a 4x6 for my albums and photo frames.

@Mickey1313, thank you for the response.

Did you check the print settings on the PC as mentioned in my previous post?

Also, check if the photo papers are loaded correctly in the photo tray. Once you load the photo papers and close the tray, you will get a message on the printer screen asking if you changed the paper type/size. Click on yes and select 4/6 HP photo paper.

Alternatively, use HP Smart app to print photos and check if the issue persists.

Click here to download and know more about the app.

I just used the HP Photosmart app (more settings) and was able to print the photo on a 4x6 photo paper without getting a border on the top and bottom.  But, I have to do this every time I print a photo rather then just hitting print, paper tray, size, etc. However, I can deal with that as long as I can print photos on 4x6 paper.  You saved the day since I am giving some photos to family members from a vacation, for Christmas. I sincerely appreciate your help and input.  Thank you, again.
