Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I select to print a color document, the printer doesn’t print in color.  It has blank spaces where the color should be.  This includes test pages. The black ink prints fine.

 

I have replaced the ink cartridges and cleaned the printer head.  I have tried printing from my cell phone as well as my computer running Windows 10.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows? Click here to use HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows
  • Have you tried with different documents or pictures?

Let's make sure you have installed the HP Smart App: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/p/hp-smart/9wzdncrfhwlh?rtc=1&activetab=pivot:overviewtab.The HP Smart app includes tools to print, scan, check ink levels, and set up your printer on a wireless network.

 

Next, Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page, and then evaluate the results.

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.

  3. Open the Reports or Tools menu.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report.
