I need some urgent help please.
I just purchased the HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer just a few days back, the set up and the installation has been done by the HP personal.
The problem I am facing is that the colours I see on my PC monitor is not even close to the colours on the photo prints, the prints are way to too orange and red
I am a pro photographer, I have colour calibrated my monitor using Spyder 5 Pro, so that when I edit the photos for colour correction using Photoshop or Lightroom, I do so, so that the colours are as they are supposed to be.
I am using kodak 4''x6'' Glossy 200 GSM paper
Is there a colour management profile I need to load on to the printer drivers, not sure if anything got to do with the colour profile.
I raised my concern with HP, they did send their personal, he did all the test prints outs, had the printer heads cleaned etc.....he even changed the colour printer head, (not the black printer head) but to no luck.
Kind request to those who know how I can fix this.
Thanks in advance.
Charlston.

What you have is a low-end printer for home use, you cant expect professional result coming out from that device. That printer is great for kids printing homework, not for a pro photographer.
Getting colours from a screen to match colours on a paper you need to have professionally calibrated high-end printer, not HP 419.

Obviously I am not expecting results of a professional printer or a lab by using a HP 419, the purpose I bought it is for instant prints for a photo booth, but anyways thanks for your input
My concern is about the colours when printed which is not good enough even for printing kids printing home work as you mentioned.
I haver been told that the printer ICC profiles and monitor ICC profiles need to be calibrated, but don't know how to, anyone reading this post has any idea kindly share your knowledge
Thanks in advance.
