Apple mac have a new operating system update, Mac OS Catalina 10.15-8.09GB. This new system only supports external operating systems of 64bits, not the previous 32 or 64bits.
For my printer to be able to connect to this new operating system update it must be 64bit compatable.
I have checked my printers specifications, but cannot find out what bit system it uses.
Could you please tell me what bit operating setting does my printer support, ie 32 and 64 or only 32.
Regards,
Anthony1949

@Anthony1949, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
With Catalina, only 64-bit software will be supported. So the printer's driver that you use should be 64bit. To check the printer specifications, click here.
HP ENVY 4504 e-All-in-One Printer has a driver available for macOS 10.15 in HP Support site via HP easy start. Click here to view/download the same. You may also install the printer using AirPrint driver(recommended).
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
