Product: OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Printer

Is this printer compatible with Catalina?   In a previous OS upgrade, I found that the printer driver was not updated by HP!  I'd like to know before considering to upgrade my OS.

@Reinvent_ED1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Printer series is compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. You may download the HP Easy Start app from HP Support site to install the printer on the MAC.

This printer is also AirPrint compatible. You may also install the printer using AirPrint driver(recommended).

 

If you scan using HP Easy Scan app, it is not yet compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. For more info, refer to this document.

However, you may use Apple Image Capture until the updated version is released.

 

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Yes, the printer is compatible with Mac OS Catalina 10.15

 

You can download and install the printer drivers from here.
