Copying an 8 1/2 x11 document on the Deskjet 2640
11-19-2019 07:28 PM
I am trying to copy/print an 8 1/2 x 11 inch document. The printer doesn't copy the entire document but leave off the top portion of the document. It prints and copies on other printers but not the 2640. Has anyone ese had this problem? the printer is new. I believe it is defective and was going to return it to where it was purchased. Customer service says this printer can't do that printing.

@Meemer, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The printer supports media sizes from 3 x 5 to 8.5 x 14 in. So, you should be able to print or make a copy on the 8.5x11 sized document. Let us try to isolate the issue-
Open HP Utility, and then print the diagnostic page.
-
Click the Finder
icon in the dock.
-
Click the drive your HP software is installed on (for example, the Macintosh HD drive).
-
Click the Applications file, and then move your cursor to the next window.
-
Click HP.
-
Double-click the HP Utility
icon.
The HP Utility window opens.
-
Click Print Quality Diagnostics Page.
A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.
Share the results with us for further assistance.
Keep me posted.
