After 1 year of warranty, HP isn't bothered. 

My suggestion to them - Sell only if you can service

No direct numbers on the website to call into

The virtual assistant is crap

When you finally get through the contact center, they tell you that your warranty is expired.

Thank you very much for that insightful piece of information

I tell them that i have an extended warranty taken from Croma, Mumbai (On Go 2 yr extended warranty)

They tell me i should have received an HP care pack along.

Well i don't have it. All i am asking for is a place to go and get it repaired, i will pay for the fraudulent promise and default from HP  and its reseller CROMA

The local service center is not reachable on phone. I don't know what kind of ponzi scheme is being run by HP ( Invest 8k and in less than 2 years, see it vanish to zero) 

If HP is bothered about this rant from a dissatisfied customer and believes in its own credo, they can call me [edit]

I reached out to Tata Croma, Mumbai, India where i had purchased the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5000 All-in-One Printer series.

I had an extended warranty of 2 extra years from Croma over and above the 1 year warranty from HP India (i obviously expect trouble from all electronic / electrical devices after the manufacturer warranty expires) 

Tata Croma had sent an engineer and he figured that the print head needs replacement.

He has gone back to get one and will come back in a week

 

So, i will wait. 

Print heads are made to last one year is it?

 

Will update this thread once the resolution is obtained
