It is possible that the printhead has been damaged by the lack of use.

Have you tried printing any other images?

yes All my cards print like this. Other documents not so bad but I think it is due to the amount of ink needed on cards?

Have HP OfficeJet Pro 6978.  Thought my problem was an old cyan cartridge as no blue was printing.  I have replaced all three colors and printed out the "status report".  No blue is printing.  I have run the head cleaner a few times but it has not improved anything, still no blue.  Need assistance or ideas on what the issue might be.
