i put a new HP 62 cartridge in my HP ENVY 5540 printer and now the Cyan will not print

@PhillJW, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that the cyan color is not printing, this could be an issue with the ink cartridge or the printer itself. Follow the steps from the document Printer Prints Blank Page or Does Not Print Black, Color Ink to isolate and resolve the issue.

But it was a HP genuine cartridge , when I can go out I will buy a new cartridge and hope that will solve the problem.

This looks like a hardware issue.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer/cartridge replacement.
