Deskjet 2600 is not communicating with my Chromebook.  Device setting shows it is there.  It does not say "Manage" next to it, still says Register, even though I have done that.  Worked fine until I went north for two weeks and came back south.  Any Help??

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's remove and add the Printer again:

Remove a preferred printer from the HP Print for Chrome list.

  1. From the Chrome browser, click on the Apps icon  in the upper left-hand corner of the browser.

A list of Chrome apps displays.

  2. Select HP Print for Chrome.

    Selecting HP Print for Chrome.

  3. From the HP Print for Chrome window, click Add printers by IP address, and then click REMOVE next to the printer you want to disconnect.

The selected printer is removed from the list.

Once removed, do add the Printer back:

  1. Open the Chrome browser, and then go to HP Print for Chrome (in English).

HP Print for Chrome app window opens.

  2. Click ADD TO CHROME, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

The HP Print for Chrome window opens.

  3. Close the window, and then continue to the next step.

Let me know if this helps.
