Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Also when I copy I only get a blank page.   Ink OK, diagnostics carried out - no problems found so whats with the blank pages?

Any help much appreciated.

HP Recommended

Dried ink cartridge, can happen if the printer was unused for a longer period. Replace ink cartridges and your printer will print fine again.

Very many thanks - that was exactly the problem!   I will have to find more reasons to print & scan in the future to keep the ink flowing.
