Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Do you have adequate amount of ink left in all the cartridges?

Please print a Quality Diagnostic Page and let me know if that prints

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. On the product control panel, press Setup (). The Setup menu displays.

  3. Press the button () next to the Down Arrow () to select Tools, and then press the button () next to OK. The Tools menu displays.

  4. Press the button () next to the Down Arrow () to select Printer Status Report, and then press the button () next to OK. The Printer Status Report prints.

Hi Krazy Toad. Thanks for replying. My son helped me find the problem - clogged black ink head. Ran the clean process twice and it shaped up! I’ve had HP printers forever and never had that happen - but I’m back in business. Thanks for coming to my aid. 😜. Carol
