Is HP Smart App compatible with the newest Chrome OS? Hp Smart App works on all my other devices (Apple and WIndows devices) but it won't recognize my printer on my Chromebook. All my devices have the same wifi connection and the printer's in close proximity so it should detect it easily. Is there anything else I need to do?

Indeed,

Try using the HP Print for Chrome app:

The HP Smart app is not optimized for Chrome OS, it may work and may not, and officially supported on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems.

Thank you. I've added using settings and it prints fine. The reason I wanted HP smart app is to make scanning easier but it's working now.
