HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier

I am getting a ( printhead problem,magenta/cyan [M/C] readout on my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier Pronter. Does this printer have a built in program for this problem? Should I try to clean the printhead?or just install a new one.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Follow these steps to clean the electrical contacts on the printheads and inside the product.

  • Step one: Clean the contacts on the printhead
  • Step two: Clean the contacts inside the All-in-One
