The display of my Offcejet Pro 8600 is on all white screen always.

? displays and when touched the 'Return' shows.

Any ideas or is it headed for RECYCLE?

Hello, 

This could be a potential hardware issue or just a display connectivity cable problem.

 

Look under the touchpad and fiddled with a small black plastic cover (presumably where the wiring from the main printer body enters the touchpad.

 

You may refer to the video till 1:25 minute time frame.

I have the same or similar problem.  All we are getting is a printer error telling us to turn the printer off and then On. We do that and then it goes thru the process and flashes a blue error screen with B86F3F54 for a mere second, then it goes to the white flashing screen telling us to turn off and then on.  It keeps repeating this process.

We watched the video but that is only showing us to replace not repair?   This printer is no longer sold at our Office Depot or Staples?  Can we get the part from HP?
