ENVY 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to take my (Canada) HP ENVY 5055 to Europe. On the box, it says 110V - but in the specs online it says 110-240V, which means, like any mobile device, it has built-in transformer. Is it safe to use just a plug adapter, or should I use only with a transformer? Thanks.

You can just plug it directly in 220V it will work. It has a built-in power adapter so it can work 110-240V.

Thanks! I had a bad experience in the '90's, where the cord of another HP printer made for North America burned out at 220V, but the printer was unharmed. This time, I believe the ENVY 5055 should work. Thanks for the reply!
