Double sided printing not working and when it does work it skips pages.

I got a new laptop and did all the adjustment for it to print double sided, when I print a document that is more than two pages long it will skips the even number pages. When I print two page documents it only prints the first page. I never had this issue on my old laptop which it also as MacBook.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the duplex printing. 

To better assist you -

1.) May I know what's the application you are trying to print from? 

2.) Have you tried the HP Smart app as well? 

While you respond to that, please check for these settings - 

1.) Open the document you want to print, click File, click Print, and then click Show Details, if necessary.

2.) Look for a Two-Sided option in the print dialog.

3.) Select Paper Handling from the unnamed menu at the center of the window, and then select All Pages from the Pages to Print menu.
