Hope all is safe and well...
I have an older *HP deskjet 3520 **C8994A **S/N [edited] PRINTER. **This information is off the bottom of the printer and the *lid.
Wondering if there is a driver and software update for this printer? THIS NOT THE HP Deskjet 3520 e-All-in-One Printer(see attachment for correct picture and model.
So far I have not been able to get it to print one drop of color picture. I have done all the tests and all the settings are correct according to the instructions.
Perhaps the Tri-color cartridge is bad or dried out?!?
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank YOU!
Additionally, try printing an internal report, if I recall correctly you should open and close the cartridge access door 4 times to print a report. if it doesn't work also try opening and closing the door quickly while holding the power button presses.

Thank You very much for your reply. I have a problem at this moment as I do not have a #28 Tri-color cartridge yet that I have full confidence in.
As stated it has always printed in the past when I replaced the cartridge(s) but the cartridge was of Unknown quality. I suspected it could be a Software/Driver update. How likely is that so that it would not print in color, but only in black? Whats more likely? a( bad cartridge or b) software/driver issues? Sincerely, Raphael 😉
