E2 error after using the color and black copy function of my HP 415 ink tank printer

@rmanggas, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

An E2 error occurs when the printer attempts to print a single-page or multi-page print job, and the paper length selected in the print settings does not match the length of the loaded paper. The printer then prints out the first page with errors.

Press the Cancel button  to cancel the print job or clear the error.

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Check the print settings, refer to this document. Make sure the paper is properly loaded in the input tray.
