ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer

My Envy printer won't print on medium/high quality paper of 210gsm weight.  It tries and I can see the marks on the back but it seems to fail as the paper is too stiff.  Is this normal?  Can this printer just not print on slightly better quality paper??

Hi, This has helped a lot. pretty annoying mind you. I have been wasting sheets of 230gms glossy photo paper getting partial prints and dirty rollers, not realising how lightweight this printer is. 90gms is not very high quality paper even for lettters never mind photos.

Hello again,

I have been out and found the lightest photo paper Tesco had. 150gmsTesco Basics. I have managed a perfectly good print on this. At least the feed worked ok so I am prepared to say that this printer seems to be able to handle paper up to at least 150gms.

@Maurice31 Greetings from the HP Community!

What kind of paper is that? As the printer only supports certain weight for specific type of paper,

For more details, I suggest you visit the product specifications and look under Paper Handling specifications: click here for details (As shown in the below image)
