Envy 5055 won't print clearly but ink levels are fine

I tried to print a packing slip for my business.  A blank sheet came out.  I tried again.  Another blank sheet.  I tried cleaning the cartridges, and the resulting paper had some faint images and indiscernible writing.  I tried the second-level cleaning option, and the paper came out better, but still completely unacceptable.  The ink levels are fine (says Installed 65).  

I tried cleaning a third time, and now the colors are fainter, and there is no black at all.  This is ridiculous.  Printing a stupid packing list should not be this painful.

Of course new ink cartridges fixed the problem.  Money solves everything.
