Hi, I just purchased this printer today because I have to print a bunch of photos for a reunion. The photo quality I am starting with is good, but when I print (normal quality on matte photo paper) the image comes out quite dark. Are there settings somewhere - for brightness- that I can adjust? I thought I saw something at one point, but can't seem to get back to it ...
Thanks for your help - my whole class will appreciate it too!

@AnayaP, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I understand you'd want to adjust the settings for photo printing. I'd recommend you go through the document HP Printers - How to Print Photos (Windows) to learn how to print photos from your windows PC.
Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
