Hi,
I have my WiFi printer "HP8710" installed via my "ExpressVPN Linksys WRT3200ACM" router and used your software "HP SMART".
Normal printing is no problem, but printing a PDF file via "HP Smart v105.1.618.0" I get the Error 0x80040154 while the software mention that PDF files are supported.
Can you please tell me how I resolve this problem.
Thank you in advance for the solution.
Regards,
Hugo

@Akya01 Welcome to HP Community!
Let's start with a hard reset using the below steps:
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- NOTE:
- HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Once done, Use this link for details on using the HP Print and Scan doctor: click here
Also, ensure you update the printer drivers using the hp website
