Started getting this error code (0x00829c98 HW_Watchdog C ) and searched forum. Tried all posted suggestions, including removing ink cartridges and powering down then powering up again. Tried numerous times, error keeps coming back as soon as printer boots up. Cannot access printer on PC and cannot access printer control panel. Therefore, I have been unable to attempt firmware update or factory reset via control panel. What other options are available before trashing this printer?
