Error code OXB9685D48 on envy 4524

Envy4524
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer ENVY4524 prints only once then comes error code OXB9685D48. It does not in thiscase react on any bottom! I need to take out the mains plug and put in again. Then it starts up like normal. When I print it generates the copy I need, but the Error code comes up again.

I run it now via USB as the net connection failed just before this error came!

Any ideas?

Error code OXB9685D48 on envy 4524

@twincam1959 I have a few steps that should help identify and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Check the error

In addition to the alphanumeric code, look for an error message that describes the problem.

note:

Not all alphanumeric codes begin with 0x; some begin with B or C.

  • If the message contains a description and an alphanumeric error code, the steps in this document do not apply. Search HP Customer Support for a troubleshooting document that matches the description you see.

Example of an error message with additional text that describes the problem

  • If the message contains only the error code, continue to the next step.

Step 2: Reset the printer

Reset the printer to recover from printer failures.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    note:

HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  5. Turn the printer on.

If the error message persists, continue to the next step.
