Hi.
I have two inks, unopened but dated June and July 2017.
Will they be ok to use ? Could they cause error messages too?
Thank you

They should work even though the date is expired. The chip on the cartridge could give the wrong date information on the status page but should print fine.Hope this will help.

I have an expired (Feb 2014) ink cartridge HP 950XL for the HP officejet Pro 8610. The printer does not accept this ink cartridge. What is odd is that I used this and other expired inks for ANOTHER HP 8610 with no issue. I want to know (1) if there is an HP trade in platform to swap out expired ink cartridges (I bought them in bulk to save money) or (2) if there is a way to override the printer to allow it to use this ink. I hate buying replacement at $45 per cartridge when the printer itself was $80. This is money in the garbage and simply not right
