My printer gives a false paperjam reading. It is a 6 year old printer. Is it worth spending €100 to fix it? If not, any suggestions as to a replacement? Needs to have a second drawer and have automat duplex.

Thanks.

if it was just working it probably still works.  Most of the time its some dust or toner covering a sensor or there is actually a small piece of paper stuck in the path.

I sometimes take some construction paper and manually push and feed it through the paper path doing that sometimes allows any debris to follow through and clear the path.  if you do this make sure the machine is off you will be feeding the paper from the path it gets picked up from the tray.

But 6 years is getting kinda old for a machine it really depends how much you use it to justify getting a new one.
