I have followed all the steps to remove paper jam no paper in the printer so false error now having incorrect power shut down error have done reset as described but will not reset unable to get rid of paper jam error

Going through your post I see that the printer has a false paper jam error and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink Cartridge Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hi I have tried all the steps even tried to get into engineer reset by powering on and pressing back four times but this will not happen as it goes straight back to the error as though it is looping so have decided to throw the printer away which is a shame great workhorse bought a 6500a plus but this does not scan double sided fighting a loosing battle
