'Remove and reinstall black ink cartridge... If this message continues, replace the indicated cartridge'. I cannot replace with new, because HP won't send one as it cannot read communicate with cartridge. So basic yet so difficult to get HP experts help. This problem as I can see is happening to hundreds of not thousands customer's, yet not being resolved. Please help. Thank you.

Yes, it is. I have received my 1st 3-colour replacement cartridge a while ago, but never needed. I have no spare black ink cartridge. HP system is just dumb: 'reinstall the indicated cartridge or replace with new if it still does not work'. How can I replace with new??? You're refusing to send me a new one until the one at fault is rectified. Over a month now without a printer when 2 people working from home and both need printing. Is someone going to send me a new black cartridge or I have to throw the HP printer out and buy the Cannon instead!???
