Officejet pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I want to find a way to use third party ink in my Officejet pro 8710. It infuriates me to pay the outrageous prices that HP charges!

So, what can I do? How can I disable the "blocks?" What workarounds exist? How can I bypass the HP chips? There MUST be ways to do this.

The one method I've found that seemingly should work is to refill the genuine HP tanks, but that means buying a rather expensive refill kit and buying ink in fairly large quantities. I don't print that much, but the high cost of HP cartridges keeps me from printing as much as I'd like. With less expensive ink, I would use this otherwise fine product much more.
