Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

For my 5055 printer, the black ink is not printing. I have followed the HP suggestions. This is a brand new ink cartridge from HP. This is actually the second black ink cartridge to fail. I  bought the printer 3 months ago, but HP says the warranty expired in 2019???? Unfortunately, I am disappointed, its seems like a nice printer, but if I can not get the black ink to work I will have to find another printer. Is there another solution, as the HP suggestions did not work, HP support probably can't help, based on other forums I read and I do not want to spend more money on a black ink cartridge, knowing its 50/50 shot if it works.

this link sent me back to where I was, and the warranty expired a year before I bought the printer, and it will not let me chat with a live person, so not sure what the next step should be.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
