I am have a issue that the screen on my HP Photosmart 5510 is frozen with message "Genuine HP Ink Cartridges Installed".
I have tried to reset by unplugging and turning back on with no luck. If possible, can I please be set instructions for a hard reset of this device to see if that works?
Appreciate your support in getting this problem fixed.

HP Photosmart 5519 e-all in one series. Not printing in black, and screen frozen after replacing cartridges. I had some fakes in but these are now genuine. i have tried unplugging, removing cartidges as per the posts but no luck. please help

Have you used an alternate black ink cartridge and check if the issue persists?
The use of a Non-HP ink cartridge may damage the printer.
Let us try these steps:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Check the ink levels
From the control panel home screen, touch the Right Arrow ().
Touch Ink (). The current ink levels display.
Use an automated tool to clean the printhead
From the control panel home screen, touch the Right Arrow (), and then touch the Setup icon ().
Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead.
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, you might need to clean the printhead several times to restore normal print quality. If a second cleaning is required, wait 30 minutes before cleaning again.
Make sure that the cartridges are properly vented and seated correctly
Refer to solution six, step 3 in this document.
