HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-In-One printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Haven't used printer in couple weeks (last job successful); error message appeared when 're-started' printer.

Followed the HP Diagnostic Solutions three times with no success; can't even get to "Print Tools Diagnostic".

There is NO paper jam; extract/replace cartridges+paper tray+thing in back+unplug/replug cords...Is it trash?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

A ‘0x…’ error typically indicates an ink system failure. Power resetting the printer and manually cleaning the ink cartridges and printhead may clear the error. Instructions on how to resolve an 'Ink System Failure' or '0x ...' error can be found here

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you Senan6806,

I copied your link, but won't have the opportunity to invest 2-3 hours

following all the suggested steps until next week....keep checking in

to see if I either (hopefully) click "solution" or ask a follow-up query.

Any/all assistance will always be greatly appreciated.

Oh well  :-((

Made a copy of your link/instructions and followed each step exactly....twice.

Unfortunately, first round I did withOUT wearing vinyl gloves!  Very messy!!

Still receive error message (albeit sparkling clean printhead) and HP Parts

does not offer this printhead anymore...and it's not cost-effective via Ebay.

So unless you have another ingenious idea, guess it's heading to recycle bin.

Irregardless, very much appreciate your assistance & checking back with me.

Thank you Senan6806....will 'look' for you with future inquiries.  TexasIndian.

You are welcome! It's unfortunate, that we couldn't clear the error and you had to replace the printer. HP has wide variety of home printers, HP Deskjet and Envy series printers are quite suitable for home printing. I believe HP Sales would be able to help you suggest a printer suitable for your needs. You may reach them from here

If you ever require any technical assistance feel free to reach out to us.

Have a great day!
