HP 2500 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Please help!  I have an HP 2500 all-in-one printer that has sat for awhile unused.  I replaced the black cartridge (56/58) with a new photo/color cartridge (58).  When I print a color test, the only color printing is the black.  I've checked to make sure it is not in the gray scale mode in two places.  Any ideas???

Yes, and the black on the 58 (photo color) cartridge prints too.  I made a mistake - my model is 2510 not 2500.  Thank you!

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
