HP All in one inkjet 4652 Prints black or color marks over printed content across the page depending on which color is been used. does not do it over the whole page, but is random. Only happens when using Mac Air or iPad. Otherwise it prints or copies  fine. Have  performed the suggested cleaning and aligning procedure with no positive results.

I understand you have issues with printing from your Mac Air and iPad, to provide you with an accurate solution, I'd like to know the following-

 

Which application are you trying to print from?

Could you share the image of the output document printed from iPad/Mac Air?

Are you using the HP Smart App/ AirPrint option to print from?

 

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

There are no updates available. I might mention that when copying it works fine. It's just printing an e-mail  or other online document that doesn't work. Thanks for your help

Thanks for replying. 

 

Are you trying to print using HP Smart app or AirPrint? If you are trying to print using the HP Smart app, try AirPrint and vice-versa. 

 

Also, if you are trying to print the emails from the browser, try an alternate browser and check if that helps. For example, if you are using Safari, try printing using Chrome.
