HP 7520 won't recognize new black cartridge.

I just replaced all 5 cartridges in my printer. Everything is okay except for the black. I did what I was told and used a q-tip with wipe the leads off and replace the cartridge, still saying "One or more cartridges appear to be missing or damaged." So, I shut it down and then back on. Still the same thing. I replaced the old black one and it worked! So I took the open new black cartridge back to Walmart and the manager was nice and said that I could exchange it. Came home and the same problem. I have realigned the print head, cleaned the contacts again. Anyone?
