Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows updated to the latest version of Microsoft Edge overnight, now my Officejet 8600 Plus All-in-One is giving me a printhead error message... I have changed out ink cartridges; removed and replaced printhead; performed a power reboot; unplugged the thing and let it "reset"; tried to remove, wiggle, and reset printhead- basically everything that HP Support says to get the printhead working again- and still getting "Printhead missing.." error message... is anyone else getting this after recent updates (05/22/20)?? or simply just really bad timing for the printhead to fail...

...ugh...

Thanks, in advance. R

@RKSEIBERT, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
