I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8630.  It has been working perfectly until I had to replace a depleted cartridge.  When I replaced the cartridges with authentic HP products that I purchased recently, I get the following error message, "the indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer."

I have checked to make sure that I have the right cartridge number, I have tried other new cartridges, and I have tried all the troubleshooting tips on this site for cleaning and resetting the printer.  Every effort has ended up the same, with the printer giving me the above error message.

Help - I am a teacher trying to do distance learning and I need a printer that works.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer or cartridge replacement.

Hope this helps!
