Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My printer is super slow (photo slow) when I copy from the doc feeder or the glass bed.   I changed the settings from photo to draft in Windows so now Scanning is quick.  Printing is also quick.  Copying is still painfully slow.

I did the reset as described in the forums.  No help.

On the printer window, I can't find a setting for paper...which (if the people in the forum are correct), might be set on paper.  Please tell me how to find a setting for this on the actual printer window.

Hi,

Open and close the paper tray of your printer, then evaluate the shown prompt to change the paper settings.

Ensure the paper type is set as Plain Paper and the paper size is correct as well.

Thank you!  That worked.  No way I would've figured that out on my own.  I'm grateful for your expertise.

I tried opening and closing the print tray.  It was set to photo paper.  I changed it to plain paper nd it worked!!

Thanks for the suggestion.
