Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer will not boot on. Keeps sending error printer was turned of incorrectly. When turned off and back on give code B8BAFDOE

Then note there is a printer error turn off and then back on.  I have turned the unit off, disconnected the power cord to hopefully reset and get same response

Hi @rcoe1

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the B8BAFDOE error.

Let's try these steps to reset the printer -

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue still persists, I have sent you a private message with the steps to perform an advanced reset on the printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Product error code B8BAFDOE. Unable to remove printer Cartridges as well as they are set in a position that is unreachable to the right. HP Officejet Pro 8710. Have disconnected power chords, and reconnected as well but still advises to switch printer off then back on.
