I just installed new cartridges that I purchased on eBay. They are HP. But they are setup and my printer message says I must remove them. Is there a way around this?

Hi,

I afraid not.

Setup cartridges are only intended for the first printer usage and should not be sold seperately on retail:

I suggest contacting the retailer to return the ink cartridges, those cannot be used on a used printer.
