I am trying to restore my printer to the "out of the box" factory default. I believe I did it correctly and when I go to the app it tells me there is a printer to setup. I proceed with connecting to my WiFi successfully and then I get this screen (see attached). I have tried "12345678" and everything else with no luck. Can anyone please provide the "factory default reset" and also the "factory password"?

Thanks

Hi @hunter2020

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

We may try restoring the wireless settings on the printer that may help.

If the issue persists, connect the printer to the iOS device using Wifi-Direct.

Refer to this document to know how.

Note: The default wifi-direct password is 12345678

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
