HP ENVY 4500 printer

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4500 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP ENVY 4500 printer will not print for me today. Well, not exactly true. I was able to print two pages of a document. But, yesterday, when I had about five pages of a different document to print, it froze on me and said that it was looking for 4 previous jobs to print first. I had canceled those jobs already, but now, every time I want to print anything from the same bunch (they were downloaded together), it keeps on looking for the previous jobs. Also, it was trying to bunch up what was supposed to fill an entire letter-size page into the top of the page in very small (unreadable) font size. I have disconnected the printer cable, also the router, and nothing seems to work.

Welcome to HP support community.

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver

I hope that helps.
