Printer HP  ENVY 5541 All-in-One Printer

The printer will no accept my new genuine, bought direct from HP ,black ink.  Infact this is the second one it will not  accept.

I managed to get one to work a few months ago and it printed 18 pages, black, then said i was out of ink !!

I ve cleaned the connections, done a hard reset etc, nothing.

Any ideas before I ditch HP for good.

Never had a HP printer before and this will be the last as nothing but trouble.

The printer is about 3 years old and i ve printed about 150-200 pages in total.
