ENVY 5660
iOS

Hello Everyone,

I am having continual problems with my HP ENVY 5660 not being found with my Iphones or Ipad Pro. The printer shows it is online in the menu as well as the WIFI light is on steady.  I'm always having to go into the printer's settings and putting in the password for my wireless network as a work around, but having to do this everyday is an anoyance. My modem is an UBEE provided by my cable company Spectrum.

I've looked through the solutions in this forum, but none have worked or seem to apply to my wireless modem.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi,

Once you connect the printer to your wireless network, the Apple device ‘discovers’ the printer on the network.
Apple devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch) use Bonjour (also known as mDNS) to discover the printer.

Tap the WiFi Direct icon () on the printer and enable this feature if it is disabled.

Connect your iPad or iPhone to the shown HP printer's network listed with 'Print' or 'Direct', the default passpharse should be 12345678.

Now try printing and check if you are able to print if you can print it is certanly due to lack of Bonjour support, consult your router service provider is a such supported by your router and can be enabled or not.

Regards,
Shlomi
