Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just went to change the empty HP 62 cartridge. Inserted the new one and received the following: "Remove and reinstall indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed, and then touch OK." . Checked Community Support and followed several suggested RESET procedures. SAME MESSAGE. Did the reset several times and finally put another new cartridge in and it is accepted and printing. What do I do to have the defective one replaced???
