HP Envy 7830 not printing in colour

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Envy 7830 not printing in colour. New machine. Setup fine. Then stopped colour printing. Downloaded HP software and reinstalled etc.  No joy. Replaced (nearly full) cartridge which came with machine. New cartridge (from HP instant ink) fine on set up and next page or two. Now stopped printing colour again. Cleaned head. Twice. No success. Cartridge shows almost full of ink. Does anyone have any idea what to do now?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

  2. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

  3. Check for colors.

Done that already.

No colours print - just monochrome.
