HP Ink Tank 310

I was printing a bunch of papers ... double sided printing... one side of the printed document went fine but as soon as I flipped over the pages and pressed enter to print the other sides ... a noticed poped on my laptop informing me my printhead is not compatible( Tri colour)..

I've never replaced my printhead and still use the ones provided in the box when I first bought the printer... the printer is still new as I bought it only about a year ago

I need urgent help as the documents are vital for me! I cant seem to understand the error as the printer was printing fine just a second ago !

Welcome to HP support community.

Make sure the printheads are properly installed

  1. With the printer turned on, open the exterior door, and then open the printhead access door.

The printhead carriage moves to the center of the printer.

  2. Install the printheads.

    • Insert the black printhead into the right slot.

    • Insert the tri-color printhead into the left slot.
