HP Ink Tank Wireless 415
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I am starting a new thread us the ones posted before are closed. I followed all the instructions here:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-Ink-Tank-Wireless-415-Incompatible-Cartridges-TriCo...

Updated software (firmware was already up to date), the cartridges are HP original, the ink is the original in the box. I bought it in november 2019, it always worked fine until this week.

I did all the steps and could print a couple of pages. But today, the error is showing again, did ALL the resets suggested and the blinking of the color cartridge (almost full in the three colors) is blinking again.

In the post by Jeet_singh, there is a link which leads to a 404 error page:

"Alternatively, you may try to follow the steps suggested in this support document for - An 'Incompatible' or 'Ink Cartridges Missing' Error Message Displays"

I would appreciate if you can give me other instructions for solving the problem.

Thanks.

Regards.

Welcome to HP support community.

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. I solved it by carefully cleaning the cartridge and the "needles" that puts the ink inside the cartridge with a small piece of coffee filter paper (leaves no lint or residues), softly moistened with distilled water. I let it dry for 10 minutes, put the cartridge back, closed the cover, turned the printer on and it worked fine since then.

Maybe this info can be useful for other people.
