We have a HP model 1536dnf printer that is dead . We think a password was set and now is lost . How do we do a cold restart ?

There are 2 models of printers that use the 78a toner cartridge.

 

  1. HP Laserjet P1606dn printer
  2. HP Laserjet M1536dnf Multi-function Printer

 

If you are looking for another MFP style printer, then another M1536dnf may be what you are looking for.  If you just need a single function laserjet, then the P1606dn wouldn't be a bad option.  However, these are the only compatible printers to the 78a toner cartridge.

See My latest reply . Nothing seems to work . Were looking for new copier that will use new toner cartrige 78A that we bought for the old copier .
